She also worked with people who had been affected by someone else's use and provided them a safe place to begin to sort out feelings and learn more about the effects of substance abuse on their lives. She has several years of experience in running an outpatient substance abuse program in South Florida and in counseling adults and families who were experiencing a wide range of concerns. Ms. South also has experience working with abused and neglected children in the foster care system. Her commitment is to provide quality care for adolescents and adults.

About Our Services

Dr. Davis provides diagnostic, psychotherapy, and education services to all ages related to Adjustment Disorders, Alzheimer's, Anxiety Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders (ADHD), Behavior Management, Brain Injury, Conduct Disorder, Dementia, Depression, Developmental Disabilities, Mood Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Parenting, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Dr. Davis utilizes sound scientifically proven therapies including Cognitive-Behavior Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis, through an educational therapy process designed to teach to you become the experts.

I believe in the philosophy behind the saying, "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime" - Author Unknown. It is not merely enough to provide a few of the therapeutic tips and hope for the best. I will help you truly understand the problem(s), condition(s), and effect(s) so that you will become better able to adapt, overcome, heal and survive in a world that seems to have been designed with someone else in mind. It is far better to learn to use effective methods of parenting, controlling anxieties, managing depression and overcoming hardships, while learning the reasons behind them, than to implement a strategy without a reason. Even if the strategy works, you will not know what to do when life throws a variation at you in the future. Stop struggling to fix your problems with the wrong tools and make an appointment right away.
