2008 HEALTH FAIR

Lunenburg Medical Center and KenCare will be hosting a health fair on August 9th, 2008 from 10:00 - 2:00 in honor of National Healthcenter Week. The event will be held at Lunenburg Medical Center on Hwy 40. There will be free blood pressure, glucose, and osteoporosis screenings, a variety of health information, children's activities, door prizes, food vendors, and a live broadcast by the BobCat  93.5. PLANS FOR NEW DINWIDDIE MEDICAL CENTER

Southern Dominion is in the process of building a new state-of-the-art facility to house the Dinwiddie Medical Center. The new facility will be located on Highway 1 in Dinwiddie, directly behind the Bank of McKenney. The building is expected to be completed in Fall 2008. The new facility will include:

-6000 Square Feet
-10 Exam Rooms
-Emergency Treatment Room
-Pediatric, Dental, and X-ray Services
-And much more!
